I haven't blogged for fun in a long time now. I'm actually online now because it's Prayer and Fasting tomorrow, and I won't be able to go on the computer except for school. It's almost quarter exams, now, and I'm freaking out because of PACEs.
I just had a random thought.... What if the black dot I put on my finger became a real life mole? I made it real big, too. It's so black.... oh well. Rant, rant, rant. Then again, ranting goes with raving, and I am NOT raving.
Oh well, until another day, peeps. :))

How Bullying Affects a Student
Let's see... I can think of many ways of how bullying affects a student. Let me share a few with you. One, when a person is bullied, they will begin to hate. They will first have the tendency to "act cool", you know, as if no one was even talking. Now, that facade may work for a while, but inside, there will be an anger for the bully that will be just bursting to get out. By the end of the school year, the victim will have been eaten up thoroughly by the hatred for the bully, allowing no recompense. And that, my friends is very, very bad.
Before I start on my second point, please allow me to tell you one small fact. Bullying is not just physical and verbal. It can also be when a group of people don't talk to you for some reason. Now let me expound on that. When a group of people don't talk to you, it feels lonely. Harsh. As if you were invisible and unknown. Sometimes it feels ok to have a low profile. Other times, you wish you could find some sort of friendship to ease your dragging schooldays. Not only do you have boring days at school, you also have the fact that no one really knows who you are. And there might be times when you just want to say,"Hey, I exist, look at me for a second!" and then think,"What's the use?" That is what happens to victims of the silent type of bullying. They start thinking that nobody will ever even try to know them, and that they shouldn't even try. (but, you know, that shouldn't mean that you should act as they do. You should still be yourself!)
Now, not only do the victim students get affected. The bullies do too! You know why? Because by bullying others, they begin to degrade themselves, with no respect for self-esteem. They probably don't even know that what they do is leaving a mark on more people than just the victim. That's why Anti-Bullying is for both victims and bullies, because they both get affected.
